Virtual Summit CASWE-ACFTS 2025 Sommet Virtuel

The Canadian Association for Social Work Education—Association canadienne pour la formation en travail social (CASWE-ACFTS) invites you to participate in a historic virtual summit taking place from May 21–23, 2025, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the journal CSWR/RCSS. This virtual summit aims to bring together a wide range of perspectives and insights to celebrate 50 years of growth and innovation in Canadian social work. It reflects on the past, addresses present realities, envisions the future of social work in Canada, and recognizes the nexus between Canada and global realities.
We will celebrate our shared legacy of persistence and success, inspiring current and future generations of social work educators locally, nationally, and internationally to advance eco-socially just social work practice, education, and research. As such, the summit also seeks to bring together perspectives and insights that celebrate and honor the work being done to advance community and social justice.
This online summit will extend over three days, featuring prerecorded individual and panel presentations, as well as daily live presentations.
